This series focuses on semi-abstracted objects with body and landscape references, using sculptures as the subjects for paintings. The sculptures are made using ephemeral materials such as wax and water to convey ideas of internal translucency and opacity. Studying how light is captured and diffused by different substances, the sculptures are then interpreted through painting.
